It's been a while, but I haven't been slacking!

It's been a couple of weeks since I've written, but that's not because I've been lazy! I'm surprised that I've managed to fit so much in! Went on Christmas eve 4.5, Boxing Day 7.1, Monday (2nd Boxing Day!) 7.1, then 2.5 last night wednesday.
Even more rewarding, though, has been the switch up a gear in pace. Very pleased to report that the last 2 7.1 mile runs have been done in 63 and 64 mins (previously averaged 69 mins) so aound a 9 min pace, v quick for a plodder like me!
No room for complacency, though, with weeks ticking by, as they tend to do. Another 11 miles required next Thurs, that will be my 4th, so well on target. Just hope no ice/snow forecast, fingers crossed!
Not much to report with races, as I haven't done any, since The Hellrunner (still can't believe that I did that, and enjoyed it SO much!), next to report on will be the Frimley 8.2 ( or 12k, if you're metric), at the end of Jan, will let you know how I get on.
