Its been a very quiet week this week as I havent been able to run as I have been busy being Mum over half term. Although I made up for it in London when I visited my sister as I walked for miles around Hamleys and Harrods. Oh what a drag that shoe emporium was?!

On Saturday I broke my no drinking rule as I celebrated Halo's job offer. 7 weeks without drinking and I got hammered and honest. Both proving to be very beneficial. The next day we walked for 6 miles to collect the car from the last nights drunken location. Very enjoyable, although strange in some sense as we walked over a favourite running route. The whole session taking on a totally different complex when taken at a slower pace.

Today I got a seal of approval from Halos parents and I felt really good as a result. I realised I denied myself happiness for a long time when it was staring there at me all along. Its taken me a long time to realise this but life isnt a race and Im into marathons not sprints,,thats my excuse
