I WANT TO RUN THE WORLD by BOUNTY_EFC

Today it lashed it down and I had to have a serious word with myself. I didnt want to buy into SAD but today I could see how people could be affected. The miserable weather didnt help in wanting me to shift my ass at all.

However, I did my warm up by the caff as per and legged it up to New Brighton. I am conscious that I am carrying a slight level of anxiety as my times of m/m are improving dramatically. I think my fear is that I wont be able to sustain this performance over a half or full marathon.

Today, I went up to Pinfold Lane and double backed and cut thru by The Tavern. I had forgotten how steep the hills were but doggedly determined. I battered them down as the rain battered me. Reaching the final one and shouting woohoo! thru air like some 3d simpsons character. I left Sychdyn for dead including the horse riders and people walking their dogs. Quite refreshing that I wasnt the only "weirdo" out in the rain. Whizzed back up to Mold and nervously peeked periodically at the Garmin. I wish I could read that thing properly.

So the scores on the doors are 8 miles - 1.16 av. 9.3m/m max 7.51

Chuffed just need everton to do a job today now too
