No Fuel, No Go!

Fact: A bowl of cereal at 0745 is not enough to adequately fuel a 4.4 miles run at 1430! Now scientifically proven by Professor Baywatch of Wurzel University!
Another 26 seconds off 4.4 mile run, and another beat off the AveHR, but wasn't pleasant!
Broke run down so that legs 1 and 4 were the same, and 2 and 3 were the same. Made for some interesting comparisons ...
1 & 4 (0.92 mi): Time 9:01 to 8:06; AveHR 142 to 169; Pace (min/mi) 9:56 to 8:48
2 & 3 (1.28 mi): Time 11:38 to 11:31; AveHR 161 to 165; Pace (min/mi) 9:04 to 8:59
Still 40:16 and AveHR 159 @ 9:10min/mi for that run is another improvement. Planning same again on Thursday, so we'll see what difference a better fuel plan makes.
Good game of indoor cricket on Sunday, which we won, despite the fact that I literally jumped straight out of the car having driven back from Silverstone.
As it's Tuesday I'm eagerly awaiting the next MEFRM installment!!

simonedumergue 'Feels like running in quicksand doesn't it when you're not fuelled up, and when you are well fuelled, the runs are so sweet indeed! Interesting to see your stats for the run though. Had to re-read it as the first time I read it I thought you had personally sprouted two extra legs, which did confuse me momentarily :-)' added 8th Dec 2009
