Well I did it, It wasn't fast and it wasn't pretty, but I did the London Marthon.

I still can't quite believe it.

6.50 and a few seconds was my eventual finish time, but given I had hoped for a 5.30 and they reckon your time is 20% down due to the heat, not so bad really.

Dress was a nightmare - it made it so warm - big respect to anyone who did it in costume, I ditched my dress at halfway to make sure I got around. If you completed it then big up to you.

Tried to join the runners world pacing team, but he seemed to have a new definition of jogging pace, so ended up droping off after an hour and a half or so. Was shattered by then though.

Thanks to all those who came up and said Hi - made me feel like a mini celeb!!! And it helped me keep going. ShazEd hope you got around ok - I am sure you were fine!!

BIG BIG thanks to my sister and all my friends who made the trip to see me. It was so good to see friendly faces that I actually knew in the crowd and to get big hugs afterwards. It kept me going, you don't know how much! Love you all.

Met up with beccy too - hope the ankle gets better, but you had a great time considering the heat/injury/etc. Good on you.

To the boys - Murph/Drew/Runningactor - good effort lads.

Talked to some of you after the race - remember you made it and as they keep telling us we are all heros.

Less than 5 hours next year, is it??

    As if.

    :D
