The hunger, oh the hunger

This 13 week training plan is a peach.
A latish meeting was cancelled which let me out for the 4pm train. Changed and out by 6pm for 20 x 1 minute hill runs. This is only in week 4! I jogged out a stretch of hill close to the village, ran up it 20 times "quickly", and jogged down slowly. Jeeeez, the first 5 were hard, the second 5 tougher, can't remember the next 5 but the last 5 were great. Maybe coz I knew I could stop soon. Still, got it done
This bit of hill is on the main drag onto the A12, passed the bus stop. Lots of cars, hoots, shouts of encouragement, and some not so encouraging. Ah, the youth of today
Did a couple of miles with the running club afterwards. We've developed a new shout. Instead of "CAR!" when we're running on the road, which tells everyone to be a little careful, if we see a Corsa or Saxo we shout "BOY RACER!" and everyone jumps on the pavement and covers their ears!
Back home, 9 hard earned miles in the bank and re-feuled with a ham/cheese toastie (poor colesterol choice), Tesco sports drink lite (not bad) and a couple of ice cold tinnies (excellent)
Tried watching the UCL but got fed up with Barca diving and rolling
Rest day on Wednesday, but actually I feel GREAT. Had a little lie in, later train to London (read RoundRachel's VLM 2011 account and embarrassed myself by welling up in front of the conductor) and skipped into the office. I need to run!
But I'm sooooo hungry all the time. I remember what this is like, and I know it will get worse. But this time I am trying to cut out the bad stuff coz the Doc tells me my colesterol is high. Makes it worse. No egg/bacon muffins for brekkie in the office, it's porridge and fruit.
...but only healthy lunches and of course I've cut out desserts
