Can't wait!

Nov1020092:40 p.m.

I can't wait until I'm actually able to run for 30 mins non-stop.   I think I might - just might - feel more like a real runner than I do just now.   Acording to the schedule I'm on, I should be able to achieve this in three weeks' time!

I run three days per week just now and I'm running 3x8 mins this week, moving on to 3 x 12 mins next week, then 2 x 15 the following week, till finally reaching the magic 30 mins.

Right now, it just seems totally unachievable!

It's a great sense of achievement when you get to that 30minute mark... and then 40... and then 45 and before you know it, you will have done an hour! Big hug for you! I won a bequest place as place as well - I had to double check that I actually had a place!' added 10th Nov 2009

  • crooxi 'Just come across your blog. Welcome to the world of 50-something runners! You're doing really well, and I'm sure that magic 30 minutes (and beyond.........) will be no problem. Just keep sneaking up on it gradually, and you will surprise yourself with how possible it actually is. Happy running!' added 11th Nov 2009
