Berry - Working at it slowly round the London Marathon for the Alzheimer's Society by Brazen67

I am Berry and I am a persistent plodder. Though I've been running for 13 years (unlucky for some), I constantly find myself starting again.

However, this year, after eight failed attempts at getting in, I have a place in the Virgin London Marathon. I am running it to raise money for The Alzheimer's Society, a charity very close to my heart as my lovely Mum died with the condition.

The wrong side of 40 and far from svelte, I won't have Paula Radcliffe looking over her shoulder. But I will do it, I will finish the same day I start, and I will raise as much as I can for the Alzheimer's Society in the process.
