Procrastinating
Feb2520129:49 a.m.
It's 9:30 am - a beautiful Saturday morning. I have 17 miles ahead of me and I just can't get this body (which is dressed and prepared to go) out of the door. The past few weeks' training have been smooth and enjoyable. The weather hasn't been all that great and yet all's been good. A little experimentation with gels: Lucozade gel makes me gag, the Highs Isogel were tasty - and that's all, but the Maxifuel Viperboost really did what it said on the packet. Today (if I can get out there) I'm trying the Viperactive. No idea which is best at different stages (their site doesn't advise) but nothing beats trial and error.
This last week I did all my pace runs on a tread which I've not done before. It was quite an eye opener realising how fast my pace can be without the worry of burning out too far away from home

Wishing you all inspired and injury free runs.
