A confession

Nov2520091:48 p.m.

Ok so I missed my Sunday run to go to an archery competition but it was worth it. I'm actually a better archer than I am a runner, but don't tell anyone(!) Went to running club yesterday and did 5 miles total - 1 mile warm-up, 3 miles hard in the middle and 1 mile cool-down. My training partner really pushed me round the 3 miles, it was hard coz we were either going up hill or into the wind nearly all the way, but still kept up a good pace. Took just under 30min I think.  Legs went to jelly at the end and felt a little bit sick, but I wasn't properly fuelled or dehydrated beforehand coz I'd had a really busy day.

Today is complete rest day which is a good thing too, because I'm not feeling 100%. Bit of a headache, sore throat, cold coming on etc. Didn't feel great on Monday either, but felt better yeaterday so thought it had gone away but it's gonna get me by the end of the week, for sure.
