The 2012 Journey by Chect

The first post of the new year!  Welcome one and all!  For those of you familiar with my blogs you will no doubt be familiar with the style (relatively informal) and content (diary and tips).  This year to bring in the new technology angle I will be sure to add; some forum posts and recommended links (a new widget along the side of my blog apparently), a quote of the week, a "did you know" (random fact) and anything else I can dream up on this 15 week journey. And so to begin...

Diary of a running geek! 

Sadly it has been all too limited for me this week (not a good week to start blogging but there you go) I've been in bed with the cold so not lots to write home about here but I know my club runners and some of my marathon buddies are already getting out and about this week.  This will be the end of Week 1 in your 16 week programme. The main this is to get well and build back up again slowly but surely.

Top Tip

Stay healthy and drink lots of fluid, a good and balanced diet should help you in this as should your training.  But dont worry if you do come down with something as you will soon learn your fitness levels stay with you for at least two weeks if you find yourself out of action.
