May I reccommend?

A week off and a packet of chocolate hobknobs a day?!? The shins were a tiny bit tender this morning but nothing compared to what they had been. So running club it was tonight for a tough lactic session, you know the 4 x 200's x 3 and the 1 mile and a half rep x 2 one.
Well I felt pretty darn good! Maybe the body thinks its having an early taper after a short training plan and is rejoycing or perhaps its greatful to have a bit of meat and waste carbs to use up! Who knows? Anywhoo it was just what i needed to give me the bug back and boost the old confidence.
21 miles down the canal path it is on Sunday! Followed by a pub lunch! Whooo hoooo. Will let u know how I fare. ANd thanks for all the great comments, you know i love you all doncha! (And I havent even been drinking!)
Run: 7 miles - incl 200ms and mile and a half reps... done pretty brisk!

Clouseau 'Thanks for the tip. It's tempting, really tempting! I've just been catching up with your blog and I'm really pleased that things are finally coming good for you. Who would have though a few weeks ago that you would be talking about a 21 mile LSR? Must be the hobnobs. How about the 2011 McVities HobNob London Marathon?..... I'm in!' added 13th Mar 2009
