Ooo don't time fly when you're...

Mar04200910:25 p.m.

trying to meet deadlines and marathon training and your addicted to an online game and your a mother to boot. Anywhoo, I have just met one deadline and have another on my back already! So this is a quickie, I had an extra rest day on monday as my shins were tingling... not a good sign. But I iced and gelled and all the rest of it and they felt ok on tues, so it was double day! 3 miles in morning to shake out the niggles and then running club in eve. It was absolutely pee-ing it down though and so blustery that only a handful of nutters, i mean dedicated runners turned up. Still we did 5 miles altogether including about 30 minutes of 200m efforts. My legs felt great and I worked really hard. Despite not being able to breath cos of wind or see cos of rain mixed with sweat. I got home early too but I was sodden to the bone and took a good hour to warm up even after my bath and sheperds pie!

Today was midweek long un. 10 miles with Postie and Long Meat. Felt tough tonight. And again disapointed that we or I only managed 9:45 miling. (Theyre much faster than me) It was hilly though and as they kept reminding me, we've got 7 weeks left yet. (Is that all?!?!?)  And we saw a UFO tonight, or a rather low strange triangular plane with three lights at each point - we noticed it cos of how low it was flying and then the way it was moving was far too fluid for a normal plane. It was  hovering and then turning in all directions. We tried to get Longmeat to catch it up lol. Think it might have been a military plane.

OK I'm off to manchester in morning so its a 6am start and I have much to do before bed. So alas, still no time to catch up but alone in my hotel room tomoro night, I will no doubt find my way round to yours. Blog of course, not your house for a cuppa... although...

Run:  tues  3 miles n 5 miles at running club incl 200, efforts = 8 miles   and weds 10 miles - 1 hour 37 ish.
