Count Down to Reading has begun

Mar16201012:19 a.m.

Since the 18 mile nightmare, Ive increased the carbs significantly and feeling fine .... my body seems to be in good shape too :-).  Stats for last week:

36.16 miles (plus 3 in the gym) - avg pace = 10.07 minute miles

On Sunday my training schedule said 10 mile race - so I set off for a training run pretending it was a race!  Managed 10.62 in 1.32 which means I might miss my target of 1.50 for Reading half on Sunday ... but I shouldn't be far away!  Quite looking forward to it as people tell me its a great atmosphere.  Last nights gym session went ok, managed 20 mins alternating between 10.8 and 12.8 km per hour (2 mins each).
