PB at Reading hooray!
last weeks stats:
24.46 miles - average pace 9.04 minute miles
Nothing too special there BUT thanks to my ex boss, John agreeing to run and pace me I smashed my PB and my target time of 1.50 at the Reading Half today. Eventually crossed the line in 1.47 something. The race was very well organised and I am sure the Jelly Babies handed out by kind residents made quite a bit of difference - thanks!
Was forced to walk a mile afterwards to the nearest pub and a loveelllly pint of cider! Great atmosphere in the pub .... left at 3pm (naughty!).
Gym night tomorrow - cant wait!
