Hello everyone, apologies for not posting for a while.
This is whats happening....
On the gym side things are going very quiet whilst its hot and people are either on holiday or they dont want to go the gym because its too hot.
On the mobile side of things. I've learned....
1. Flyers dont work as a way of recruiting clients unless you hand them out on the street and talk to people.
2. The free listings sites are great, you dont pay for them and they get you page 1 on google for your area.
3. All the sites like Yell.com, Thompson Local etc want you to pay hundreds of pounds with little promise of any work.
4. Just with the gym, you need to insist on money up front from the clients at the initial consultation stages.
on google side of things, an associate of my business coach is going to get my wesbite to google and not charge me which is fantastic.
The only clients I have managed to recruit have all come from google and thats the main source of business.
The problem Im having is that I am trying to launch at a tiime of the year when business is notoriously quiet.
On a positive note, the results are good, clients are all losing weight and getting toned. The only complaints I have is that people have to buy new wardrobes.

Claretsmad 'Well im guessing your clients are mainly men because i cant imagine to many women would complain about 'having' to buy a new wardrobe haha. Sounds as tho the whole things a big learning curve, Thanks for sharing' added 4th Jul 2010
