Threshold training

Last night was threshold training and what joy the sessions are.
We did 400m fast, 400m slow, 800m fast, 800m slow, 400m fast and 400m slow. Then we repeated the session. It did not help that it was cold and windy along the shoreline. When you are running fast it was not too bad but on the slow recovery runs you felt.
Overall with a warm up (well I never really got warm) and warm down we did 4.5 miles in under 40mins.
Not running with the club on Thursday, as got works Xmas Do but hoping to be able to run on Saturday morning.
