Ouch!! Not still hypnotised then!

Jul15201012:11 a.m.

Went to the gym tonight and really felt the revived muscles in my thighs from Monday's run. Yell  Did an hour of aerobic exercises and about 45 mins on weights and resistance.  And I have lost 5lb since I started on this new fitness plan.  Smile  I'm glad it hurt a bit - 'cos it means I am actually working those muscles again.

Hypnotised?  I had hypno-therapy yesterday morning to try to cure my fear of flying and will have a second session next week.  It's a bit hard to say if it has worked until I turn up at the airport on 14th August - I think I might have to have the valium on stand-by just in case!!  I don't want to be missing the plane.

Hypno-therapy was a strange experience - at all times I felt like I could just get up and leave and was thinking I just have my eyes closed but nothing is happening.  But it seems that I was completely 'under'.  At one point the therapist asked me to raise my right arm - I was convinced I didn't, but apparently I raised it fully!  And I thought I was under for about 5 minutes, but it was 25 minutes.

The mind is a strange and wonderful thing isn't it?

Truly the mind is a remarkable thing..... ....I could do with a blast of hynotherapy myself to calm my mind in the swimming leg of Ironman which is imminent!' added 16th Jul 2010
