My first post-marathon run
Apr2720085:20 p.m.
Yeah, I know 2 weeks is a long time to take off. But I've had an awful *awful* cold.
I went for a short run (<3 miles). And I confirmed my suspicion that, however constipated I am (when I *feel* like I need a dump, but can't go), running immediately solves the problem (if 'solving' means 'having to stop the run and find a nearby public loo'). I don't know why I have this irritating problem. I've been running since the mid-90's, and the problem only kicked in 2007-ish.

Slow for everyone else, but pretty fast for me!
I just did a short run at lunchtime, but the speed was 12 minutes/mile - slow for normal people, but quite fast for slow old me. I don't know why I'm slow...
