Some light recovery exercise.

Taking the advice of my physio to do some light exercise to get the legs feeling better I headed down the gym for a swim and cycle.
I've been feeling tired throughout the day at work and according to my colleagues it was showing.
I got to the gym and said goodbye to my trainers that got me through Sunday as I deposited them in the charity recycle collection point in the gym sports shop.
I jumped on to the bike and cycled at a lower level than I would usually do so. I cycled for 15 minutes then had a 3 minute cool down. The cycle went pretty quickly. I found that I was still feeling really tired, but forced myself to go swimming. I only lasted 5 minutes as I had no goggles which was making it hard to see where I was going and I could really feel my big toes. After the 5 minutes someone else entered the lane so I stopped. I enjoyed being in the pool despite being so tired.
I jumped on the hydro beds not knowing if the jets of water were going to potentially damage my muscles any more or not, but even if they did I enjoyed lying there!!!
With hospital physio tomorrow, I'm going to give my body a rest on Thursday.
