Update: (16/05/2009)

Having made a lifestyle choice, at almost 18 stone and being unable to run to the loo(!!), I applied for the FLM 2009. I got in and ran for SPARKS having lost over 4 and a half stone! Was a fantastic day, but my right calf went after 16 miles and I limped and hobbled the last 10 and over the finish line.

So I must carry on running to keep the weight off and better my PB's. Ballot entered for 2010, so fingers crossed. - got place with Children with Leukaemia!!

Still not built for speed, but am improving and keeping going. Many thanks for the support of my wonderful wife Debs, and my two little angels, Derry and Ellie.

Well I feel like a 5 year old going on holiday. Have already started packing my stuff, Debs thinks I'm having an affair with a bird called Baywatch and I'm boucing around like Tigger.

Only 5 sleeps and one more run (2 miler!) to go. Out at 5am this morning and did another PB for 3.25 miles in 29:45 (I know too quick!!). Feeling strong.

Meeting my other half (Mr Baywatch) between 8.30 and 8.45 at the Lucozade tent, red start and would love to meet many more of you.

I think there is going to be quite a crowd of us at the luco tent at 8.30am - oh goody I love a good get together. Have a good week!

Yay - pleased to hear there is going to be a chance to meet all these people I feel I have got to know over the last few months!
Enjoy getting through those last few days.
I am now completely obsessed and unable to concentrate on anything. Thankfully I am not working on Thurs and Fri and can surrender to the mentalness completely.
Enjoy that last 2 miler and see you Sunday :-)

We are meeting at the lucozade tent at 8.30 in the red area too - see you there. Large redhead in an unflattering lime green vest - get the picture?!! Not happy with the vest!! LOL Still takes my mind off the actual event and I too am packing and writing lists!!!
