The year so far

Seeing as we have now passed the longest day of the year (I know, how depressing) I thought I should do a quick update on how my year has gone so far.
As you can see from the start of the blog, I set some targets to achieve this year and so far it all seems to be going pretty well.
First up on the list was a sub 4 hour marathon, this was achieved on the 25th April when I completed the London Marathon in 3 hrs 38 mins 11 secs
Secondly, a sub 1:38 half marathon, this was done at the Fleet half in a time of 1 hr 34 mins 50 secs
Third, a sub 45 minute 10k was completed on the 9th May at the Moors Valley 10k road race in a time of 42 mins 24 secs.
I'm still working on the other goals, my weight did get done to 12st 7 lbs but back up to 12st 10lbs at the moment, much to the delight of Mrs R as she said I was starting to look to thin!! Not sure how anyone waying 12 1/2 stone can be thin though!
I haven't taken part in a cycle sportive yet but did cycle from Fareham (hampshire) to Bath last week. It was a lovely afternoon's cycle and I did the 78 miles in 4 hours 40 minutes, legs felt a bit funny when I got there but after a shower and a bite to eat I felt fine.
Next challenge is the Dunsfold Park Duathlon that I'm hoping to take part in in August.
