If you can't be fast....look fabulous!!! by Highmileage

Ten years ago I discovered running, even as recently as that, there was a noteable "lack of glamour" in the sport. Running apparel has come a long way since then, and so have I. 13 marathons later, I've come from the back of the pack. I know what it's like to run a 5.30 marathon, a 3.06 (PR) and everything in between. My motto "If you can't be fast, look fabulous!" It certainly helps. I ran my first marathon in a cotton singlet and soccer shorts! After discovering the benefits of proper running gear, and technical fabrics, it's only fitting I landed my dream job as Running Apparel Buyer for 'Potomac River Runnings' 7 stores in the D.C. area.  My name is Jeanette, and throughout this blog I will be training and road testing running apparel from all different sportwear companies, check in for the nitty gritty details.
