Have you ever… Dodged Cupids arrow ??

Ok so its February the month of hearts and flowers and loves young dream blah de blah de blah … I have nothing against cupid the lovely little fella but really Valentine’s day is just a bank managers nightmare… It also makes us single people miserable and quite a few coupled lovies downright depressed. Not only is it the day of Saint Valentine this February but it is also a leap year .. Men beware!!

Us single ladies suddenly become social lepers in February, we are pitied by the smug Brangelina’s and Tomkat’s of the world and quite frankly we may as well be related to medusa  ….. “ don’t look the single girl in the eye it may just be contagious” and the poor coupled man will feel pressured into making grand romantic gestures that quite frankly suck when you have just got over Santa’s wallet bashing!!

Take pity on the poor man this year and appreciate the heart shaped toast instead of the rock you wanted and if you love somebody love them all year round, send flowers in July and leave heart shaped messages in November! This year I shall make sure that all the wonderful people I love know it every month of the year and not just on the 14^th of Feb!!
