Post Christmas Slump

Hi Realbuzzers
How are you all and how was your Christmas?
Mine was lush but naturally I have eaten FAR too much! I am now tipping the scales at 9 stone 12 3/4 which is 1/4lb less than my heaviest! Bath Half is looming so I am facing the new year with motivation and determination!
I went out running yesterday for the first time in AGES! I did 5x 4min run/2 min walk and the extra weight plus xmas lunch/chocolate/mincepies was felt rather badly! Tomorrow's session is 5x 4/1 run/walk and I can't wait to get out!
I have been reading lots on running, health/fitness and natural health bits and pieces that I have been finding motivating! I have a 4 week healthy eating plan to follow from Mon 2nd. Happy to scan and email to any of you who want to join me, a bit of cyber support to each other? According to the nutritionist who designed the plan you can lost 0.5-1.5kg in 4 weeks - sounds too good to be true but hey ho, won't know until I try!!!
With the new year looming it's time to move forward and leave behind all the things that drag you and I down. I have done alot of soul searching recently and it's amazing what I have discovered about myself. It's all down to me now. No one can boost me, just me! I don't want to spend another year of my life battling anxiety/depression and letting opportunities to achieve things pass me by. I spend too much time worrying about what people think. So it's about what I think from now on!
I am rejoining the "we like ourselves" campaign cos I am as good as the next person!
Who's with me for a healthy, happy and fit 2012?
Happy New Year
