Schedule for London starts on Monday, time to get serious.

Welcome to my blog, I'm 44 years young and a mid-pack 10k & 1/2 marathon runner. The London 2009 event will be my first & hopefully not last marathon. Hoping to go sub 4 hours depending on training, injuries, weather on the day & a thousand other variables that can knock me off track not least the amazing Cruzcampo beer on tap at La Piazza 2 in Bispham Blackpool where I work. (That plug's got to be worth a couple of quid sponsorship money Juan!)

I'm running for the Rosemere cancer foundation, which is a Lancashire based cancer organisation. It's a charity close to my heart & I hope to raise in excess of £400.
