yes yes i know i said i wasnt running this week, but....

When i got home from work the weather was beautiful and i just had to get out there.

Today was my first run in my cancer research vest and it made me cry all the way round. kept thinkin about who im running this race for and how much i miss them. but the tears didnt stop me, they pushed me on harder than ever.

So did my 5 mile hilly route and managed to shave 6 minutes off my last time and got it down to 55 minutes :D still not mega fast but not bad with all the hillage.

treated myself to a nice hot bath wen i got home with loads and loads of radox and lots of stretching. and the foot is feeling good so far. not really aching or feeling any pain,  clearly im gettin used to all this running around!

Eric's been driving me nuts tonight, i cant wait til he's had his jabs, then he'll be coming out on 5 mile runs with me and then we'll see whose the energetic one when we get home!!

The swim didnt happen this morning as my mum was coming round with a shepherds pie (she misses cooking for golden boy Alex!) and it was the last chance i would see her before she goes on holiday tomorrow. maybe ill try again for a swim tomorrow :D

oh and here's something that will make you all smile, you know i told you that i was being papped last week, well the paper is out tomorrow but they've already published it on the website:

I look like a right trout and cant believe she put in so much stuff from the email i sent her, was just rambling on like i do on here :D ha ha!! So now just gotta wait and see if it has the desired effect and gets the sponsors rolling in!

oh and glen_b, feel free to come and do my ironing and housework for me, as Alex is crap wen it comes to stuff like that, him and Eric just make one big fat mess after another! i feel like i have kids already!! :D

k xx

  • squa25 'You're now the local marathon superstar!! Great article! and excellent on shaving off 6 mins on your run today!! I'm having a little giggle at Simone's comment: "Certainly not like a trout - what are you like??!!" You definitely do not look like a trout! But you're braver than me going in the local paps. And had Glen not got in before me, i was going to say...is Glen hiring himself out to do all our ironing??? lol' added 10th Mar 2010

  • Account_closed 'I would take advice before you take him out running. Depending upon the breed, he may not be fully developed or be able to run 5 miles. You may cause him arthritis in later life, or joint problems. I know that owners of Red Setters or Wolfhounds are not supposed to run them until they are over a year old. Just a thought.' added 11th Mar 2010
