I DID IT!- BOSTON 2009!

Well I did it! I qualified for Boston at the ING Georgia Marathon . YEAH! I'm so pumped. I know this is a bit of a hilly course (but then so is Boston). I wanted to run with my friend, which I did (at least we STARTED together.).
I was feeling so good I just stayed on pace mile after mile. Things got a bit tough at Mile 22, but I was so on pace that I was encouraged to just hang on.
Did not walk once...though I did have a few walk thru water stops.
I'm so glad I picked this race! Awesome. Glad I finally did qualify!

nightswimmer 'Congratulations on your BQ! It was a fantasy of mine to qualify in this, my first Marathon attempt, but I wasn't even up to my (10 minutes shy of BQ) pace goal for the latter half of the course.
