Quick Update
Nov3020073:58 p.m.
Hello, have just returned from holiday so I thought I'd do a quick update. No running or excercise to speak of other than a nice country walk at Bolton Abbey a few weeks ago. I've reached the stage where I get out of breath very quickly (it's two flights of stairs to my office and sometimes I have a little rest half way up!) so can't do anything strenuous but am determined to get swimming regularly so my body isn't a pile of untoned jelly after the baby is born.
I'm feeling very well, no barfing or horrendous symptoms so far. Am asleep on the sofa at 9pm every night so have missed loads of telly but apparently that will pass soon and apart from feeling uncomfortable and bloated all the time and my nose being bunged up permanently, I've been fine.
I applied for a London marathon place hoping I'd be rejected and could keep applying for a few years until I save up enough rejection slips to have a guaranteed place. Fortunately my plan worked this year and upon our return from holiday I had a Marathon News for Rejects in the postbox. And lo and behold, there was Pete Elwick smiling up at me from the photo of last year's celebrity Flora First Timers!!
Am actually missing running, it was a relief to give up at first but now I'm missing it. I don't feel any better for giving up drinking and improving my diet though, or maybe that's masked by the knackeredness.
Have a nice weekend everyone

Pete 'I think the article/photo was the same in both versions of the magazine - Kirsty made me laugh though - she told me she got her picture in twice - apparently in the picture of Floella on the start line you can see Kirsty's EAR in the background!! ;) I'm pleased to hear you're feeling well - take it easy' added 2nd Dec 2007

kernowgirl 'What fantastic news of your pregnancy and engagement. Congratulations, to all three of you :0)...at least running never goes away, it will still be here when little one allows you some time to yourself. Good to hear you are feeling well, the tiredness should soon go and then you may enter the nesting period, where you have loads of energy.....take care and BW A' added 2nd Dec 2007
