Desperately didn't want to leave Cape Town and when we landed this morning to grey skies we could quite happily have turned round and gone straight back.  However, the day quickly improved and by lunchtime I had gone out for a run in beautiful spring sunshine.  The birds were singing and the rape fields were absolutely stunning.

We did a speed training session of 1 mile jog, 6 x 400m fast with jog recoveries and 1 mile jog.  To start with I felt a bit breathless (could have been the rape fields) but my legs felt great.
