20 Mile Run Completed !

I've done it ! I've managed to do 20 miles !!!!!! Yipppeeeee !!!!!!!!!
I've got to be honest, it was a bit of a gamble doing the long run today. I injured my ankle 1.5 weeks ago and only gave it a week's rest, before resuming training. Although the pain had subsided during that time, the ankle is still not 100% right. For the first 3-4 miles I was very self-conscious of my ankle, but fortunately after this initial warming-up period, the muscles seemed to relax and it became less of an issue as I plodded on. My overall time was a good 10 minutes slower than a fortnight ago, which I'm putting down to the ankle injury. But although the overall time was nothing to boast about, I was remarkably consistant across the distance. Plus, I actually managed a negative split !
