Stormy weather running!

Good run last night with Dom, in the ridiculous wind and rain - a good minute per mile faster than Monday :) 6.23 miles in 1:04:15, averaging 10:19 minute miles. Happy with that :)

Excuse alert! Wet heavy clothes, a couple of nasty hills, and wind that seemed to change direction whenever we did so it was pretty much always pushing against us... On a calm dry day I reckon we'd manage it in an hour, so there's an aim for the future :D

Didn't feel like I'd done an awful lot on Tuesday, just a bit of lifting and smidgin of core work, but yesterday and even today I really feel it in my abs. Guess you don't have to spend ages on core work to get some benefit, which is good to know. Having a rest day today (maybe just a bit of walking), then tomorrow I think I'll do a quick spot of lifting and core work, and on Saturday or Sunday (weather dependent) hopefully manage a 7.5 to 8 mile run (the great orme 10k course plus a bit extra at the end I think).

Shaping up to be a good week this :)
