Hey

Nov26201110:57 p.m.

Hi guys. It's been a while but thought I should get back on track and start blooging again. Many of you i'm still in touch with via Facebook so you will now what's been going on since my last post in July.

This year has been crazy busy with starting up a new business as a personal trainer. In retrospect I should have listened to what so many people told me and not even thought about tackling a 100 miler this year. But me being me I entered Caesars Camp 100. But everyone was right and I was wrong and it just wasn't a realistic target when trying to get a new business off the ground so the idea went out the window. Suprisingly it was only a month before the event I decided I would have to pull the plug.

So it was back to the drawing board. I'm happy to say that the business is doing very well and i'm able to organise my time better so that I can fit in my training and things are going well with my training and have been for a little while.

Because of this i'm having another crack at 100 miles. For those of you that don't know me I attemped a 100 mile race last year and failed at 57 miles. On May 19th I am running the 24 hour challenge in an attempt to crack the 100 mile barrier. I've chosen this race for a number of reasons. Firstly May is not far away, but mainly I am familiar with the race set up and route. Having done the 50 mile challenge last year on the same course I decided it would be a good one to go for.

No risks of getting lost and my time of 9hours 51 for the double marathon on the same course fills me with confidence about cracking 100 miles.

Although my blogging had stopped my training hasn't. I wanted to get the blog started again to monitor my own progress.

Hope everyone's ok and i'll start catching up with all your blogs. I've got a Santa Dsh to do in the morning and then a 10 miler in the afternoon. I'll keep you posted each with how my training's going.

If any of you is interested type in Matt Hart Personal Trainer into Facebook and become a fan of the page. You're also welcome to add me as a friend on Facebook.
