Horrible run last night . . . .

Mar0320119:39 a.m.

Had a really crap run last night. I just couldn’t find my tempo / rhythm. I think I set out too fast, as for the first time in my whole training program I got a stitch in my right side. The run was 8 miles, and I completed it, but was forced to walk for a bit from mile 5 until the stitch cleared up. Not happy with myself really – when I ran 2 consecutive half marathon distances over the past 10 days, I thought this 8 miler would be a breeze.

It could be the fact that I’m still tired from the plumbing incident (see earlier post!!), or the fact that our 3yr old son has decided to start waking up at least 4 times in the night!! Plus work is busy and stressful at the moment, and that is not helping me rest! Either way, I feel totally beat at the moment. Nearly dropped off on the bus into work this morning. . . .

Well, it’s a rest day today with a planned 10 mile run tomorrow night. Will load up on pasta, and get an early night tonight I think. A few good nights sleep is all I need right now . . . . .
