Well all good plans, however well intended don’t seem to map out too well for me at the moment!! Had an 8 miler planned for tonight, but it ain’t going to happen!! We had a plumbing crisis at home last night, with a radiator springing a leak just before we went to bed at 10.30pm. Nightmare – called various out of hours plumbers, and the cheapest wanted £150 to just out and look at it! In the end, I spent the best part of the night emptying various containers I used to catch the water, until the system had drained down enough to stop the leak by itself. In the end our friendly builder refered us to one of his mates, who came out at 8.30am and sorted it for £35!!! Added to that my young son decided it would be his night of restless sleeping!

As a result, only had an hour’s kip last night, plus a full day at work today, I am suitably knackered enough to think an 8 mile run would be impossible tonight. Will get a very early night, and go out tomorrow, and push my 10 mile run back to Friday. Should be ok with that!!
