Tight Calves and Cramp!!

Hi all
Well, I managed a LSR yesterday - did 13.1 rather than the planned 15, but that was down to me missing my midweek runs due tot he cold I had last week. Run went sort of ok - 2hrs 1min, so 4 mins faster than last weeks. Going to make sure i get in the 18/20 miles this week that I need to catch up with, and then will go for 15/16 next weekend. Should be ok for that.
Small problems on the run, that I have not had before - both calves tightened up at around 11 miles, so much so that I had to pull up for a few minutes and try to stop them going into full cramp! Not nice, and the last 2 miles weren't much fun. But i made myself run through it, and got home ok - bit stiff still this morning, but I have a 2 mile walk as part of my commute to work each morning, and that seems to have actually helped the legs out!!
So its 8 miles tomorrow night, and then a rest day Wednesday, followed by 6 miles Thursday and Friday, ready for the biggy on sunday.
hope you all had a good weekend - weather was pretty crap on Sunday here in Derby, cold and wet. Rather that than hot and sunny at the moment though!
