fantastic friday frolics!

sorry got a little carried away with the alliteration there. Just got in from my run. goal was 30 mins easy pace. according to the (now fully functioning) garmin, i did 3.06miles in 30 mins, avg pace 10m3s. happy with that! i was down along the river which is actually part of the robin hood marathon route anyway,about 2 miles in i actually ran over the 13 mile marker. it was a comfortable run so i think im ready to step it up a little next week. its the second week of base building so I'm going to just bump it up to 35 mins and try to up the pace by 5-10 seconds and see how it goes. then in week three i start spicing it up with some interval/tempo runs, and start with the sunday long runs. i do miss my sunday long runs! but easy does it so i dont end up with PF languishing on the sofa again!

oh as i type sofa instead of setee, i figure i might throw a little clarification in for those of you who read this blog more than once or twice... i am an american, but live in england and have done for the past 3.5 years. So I speak and also write in a hybrid of american and UK english...watch for vocab clashes, interchangeable Z and S, and O vs OU constantly. its unintentional, just sort of happens. so apologies if i make your brain hurt from time to timeTongue out
