Easy recovery run

Out at lunch on my own for an easy run around a 5k course, nice sunny day but cool and I took it steady in 27:30. Yes I know it seems crazy to be out running after Sunday but it's what my body's used to, I always run after my long runs and races.
So don't worry I'm not being stupid, I've no injuries just a few aches that'll go away in time.
Now I haven't applied for next year yet and will have to try to get on when the entries reopen next week!!
I hope you're all recovering well and enjoying a week of rest! I guess there's not much chance to rest for those on the long distance walking events this summer - good luck all!

I had to do a slight light run for the train today and my whole lower half ached during and for - a good 15 minutes afterwards! Dim 'Well done on a great event Pete. (Sorry I'm still talking about Sunday as I'm way behind on the blogs). The sunglasses were definitely not required for the second half of the event. You're certainly a man of dedication getting straight back into the running. I intend to take a leisurely week (maybe even two).
