Busy, Busy, Busy!

So life was surprisingly normal on monday considering I made history on Sunday, and- even better than that- my legs felt ok! I took Monday off as my day of rest, then Tuesday ended up going to London- so on mega early train and back late which meant 2 days off- can't remember the last time I had 2 consecutive days off.
So in a bid to maintain my 4 runs per week, on wednesday I did my first ever double run day! I was up at 5.30 a put in an easy 4 miler- reasonably quick (8 minute miles) considering first run after Kilomathon. Then Wedsnesday night after work ran 5 miles, this time at target marathon pace 8.45- well that was the plan- ended up being a bit quicker. Thursday- no running, took NikMas to my gym and we enjoyed a gentle swim and long gossip in jacuzzi, steam and sauna! I dragged myself up early this morning to do a brisk 4 miler before work. 3 runs down and 1 to go.....and the plan tomorrow is for the BIG one!
Plan is 20 miles, actually feel stupidly nervous (haven't done more than 18.67 before), so am going to take it really easy and have made sure I am fully hydrated all day today and packing away plenty of carbs. Mr P is ill with man flu so am also totally paranoid about catching that so dosed up to the eyeballs with vit C, echinacea and other such delights, and told him to keep out of breathing distance (I am a loving wife really!). The evening ahead holds, Jacket Potato and homemade chilli, watching sport relief and plenty more water! Ready to get up with the sparrows to get LSR in before getting my hair done at 12!
Missed lots of peoples posts this week- need more hours in the day! Enjoy your weekend, look forward tohearing everyone elses running tales!

glen_b 'I was really nervous before this weeks LSR for some unknown reason, probably knowing it was being done on an evening, I never run on an evening!! Good luck for tomorrow!' added 19th Mar 2010
