Yes both got in the way of my training this weekend!!
No posts last week due to forgetting completely that I had started the blog. Doh!
Anyway all in I ran approximately 25k Monday to Thursday but then didn't train from Friday onwards due to going to London for the weekend to watch England v Australia. Had a really good weekend but feeling rather guilty now.
I'm going to do 10k on the running machine before work tomorrow and then i'm going to buy a new pair of trainers. Asics Gel Nimbus I think. I've been using New Balance but I'm not too impressed with their cushioning.
Then after that let the games begin. I've downloaded a marathon training plan for my Garmin so going to make every effort to stick to this.
Only time will tell...
