Well its been a while.....

Oct0420103:26 p.m.

I'm sort of back, but not quite!     After Brighton in April, I just decided that long distance running was not for me.   Didn't have the time to train or, if I'm honest, the motivation!

I applied for VLM because as a reject 4 times over, Virgin offered the early application malarkey for past rejectees..... I thought it would be daft not to apply so I did.  And I got in.   Oops.

However, life is a lot more settled now and I will be able to train, all I have to do is get my head back into it!!    I have been keeping myself fit (bike/gym), but I need to get back into the training mindset.

I have no aspirations for time, pbs or anything.   I will take it as it comes and hope that I get round, but I will give it my all.

First time I ran London I didn't know what to expect, how painful it can be, how mentally scarring (only kidding), but I know what I'm letting myself in for now.  I've had good races with ok results and bad races complete with DNFs.    So I'm prepared in that sense.  Now I just need to get my body to agree with me Surprised
