True what they say, all good things do come to an end. The majority of cars rolling off that production line in Ellesmere Port have been for export. Whispers had been going around that production was about to be slowed down due to a big drop in orders from the continent, and 22 jobs lost in the Quality Assurance depatment wher I've been working.
Well I don't know about the 22, but as the last one in, and employed through an agency rather than enjoying the security of a full time contract with Vauxhall, I now find myself surplus to requirements

Just been scouting around for jobs, and even compared to a couple of months ago, thinhgs are extremely quiet in North Wales. Geographically, the nearest advertised job of what I'd ideally like to be doing is in Wolverhampton!
Brace yourselves people, things are worse than they're letting on
