Birthday blues in full effect!!!

Nov2420099:32 a.m.

There is always a bit of a come down after a birthday I find. Although to be honest I don't like the build up either. I hate getting older and always have. Mandy's (my wife's) birthday is the day before too, so this year we did her friends Thu night, my friends and sisters Fri night, and my mum, dad, and grandparents on Sunday. Thu night a few beers and a curry, Fri night lots more beers and clubbing, and NO RUNNING!!!! The No running (because I was in no fit state to), just made me feel guilty as hell, and I ENJOY running too, so for a few hours of probably acting like a bit of a div (albeit I enjoy letting go and being a bit of a div), I sacrificed almost three days of exercise. Now...was it worth it.....? This is a big question, because of Xmas coming up. I'm sure there will be get togethers, a big footy do on the 5th (clubbing again no doubt), and plenty of opportunity for a few drinks. Even a few means 4 or 5 to me. A clubbing night like the 5th means 12-15 more like....bearing in mind 4 or 5 NOW is a lot, because of the running I absorb nothing, and it all goes straight to my head, and I can't run the next day....It also seems that its more like two days that the effects last for. ACTUALLY for the first time for a long time, I want to give up anything more than one beer. How that goes down on the 5th I don't know.....THE ONE BEER RULE......starts here.... Lets see how long it lasts!!
