Bleuch, pain, more bleuch & weight loss

Nov25201010:51 a.m.

It is infallible really! Stomach upset for prolonged period. Nastiness at both ends & not eating much for a week. Best way to lose weight ever devised. If you're happy to put up with the pain & exhaustion that go along with it that is.

Sadly, I didn't have a choice.

So I haven't done anything in the way of exercise since Monday 15th, and I feel awful. But my Davina DVD is on it's way to me, along with Power Yoga :) Kids'll wet themselves when they see that going on. Although the wee man is a born dancer, so hopefully he'll join in! Boxercise was cancelled this week, not that I'd have been there, but at least I'm not the only one in the class who'll be struggling a little more next time (Insert evil smiley rubbing hands). Only 3 more sessions left before we stop, so the DVD is nicely timed to keep me going through the darkness known as December/January up here (and I do mean the darkness, we're approaching Icelandic levels of daylight)

It does feel like forever since I did any running though - I did 5k on the 6th of this month, with a couple of friends who're just starting out, so following the thigh twinges it was a good slow pace for me & a good challenge for them (I lied to them & said we'd do 3 miles then kept going until we reached the 5k) and I haven't had my running gear on since.

Still, another bout of this stomach killing stuff & I should be size 0, not. It is good to be discovering my rib cage again. You can't underestimate how much I've missed poking myself in the ribs. Lol!!
