About Let's Go Round Again
So, in 2007 I ran my first FLM. By mid-March I was thoroughly sick of training; courting public derision in lycra and feigning enthusiasm for new varieties of pesto (Artichoke puts a totally different spin on linguine. Really it does.). Then race day came and it was brilliant. I crossed the finish line and cried "Again! Again!". After a long and emotionally traumatic period I've now accepted my inner masochist. And I'm doing it again. Oh lord.
But there is an upside. I'm raising money for The Samaritans. They do an incredible job providing emotional support 24 hours a day to those with no-where else to turn. The service is run by 17,000 trained volunteers and is entirely dependent on voluntary support. There are 202 branches of Samaritans in the UK and Republic of Ireland. I’m supporting my local branch so you can be sure your donations will make a real difference. Please sponsor me at:
