Wrong Carbs
Apr2020102:35 p.m.
I went to the shop last night and asked for their best carb product. After 3 bites I started to feel sick so I spat it out. I fon't care how good they say carbs are for you I'm never eating Carbolic soap again.
6.7 mile run at lunchtime, one more shorter run this week and that's me done. I managed to keep a reasonable pace, unlike last week when I pushed myself to do my fastest time over that distance.
During one of my frequent early morning wakes up when I can't get back to sleep I was thinking about the marathon and how I will feel when I've finished. After several seconds I camae to the conclusion I will feel knackered, then I fell asleep again. I can't wait to experience the whole day, especially when I can see the line, cross it and get the edal round my neck, just hope I have enough strength to wear it.

I am getting excited even though I have had to defer until 2011 due to injury. But I will be there in the crowds cheering you all on. Good Luck, have a brilliant race, you will defiantly have the strength to wear your medal, I didn't want to take mine off when I got into the bath when I ran VLM in 2005 :) ' added 21st Apr 2010

simonedumergue 'How long did it take you think that one up?! lol The reason I am back for a second bite of the cherry is that the feeling of coming down that Mall, with the deafening roar of the crowds is SO truly amazing that it makes every hard, difficult step before that worth every painful moment. It is the best. And you'll want to go to sleep wearing your medal :-)' added 21st Apr 2010
