Random!

This morning Oscar & I went for a run, we were having a "race" with my husband - he was on his bike and was going to do 4 laps of 3.25 to my 2 laps. Less than a mile away from my house (we live in a residential area) I was alarmed to see 3 horses walking along on the footpath with 2 or 3 men seemingly following them and a police car stopped nearby. I decided that the wise option would be to take an alternative route so that Oscar didn't spook the horses and we remained safe. This meant I probably cut the corner a little so I decided to be fair and added in an extra corner later on.

I had a really nice run on a beautiful sunny day and even though I wasn't training "with" my husband I was actually training with him and he really enjoyed being out on his bike.

I feel that it is something that we will repeat, possibly looking at alternative routes with fewer traffic lights where my husband could get held up.

My running is definately quicker than it has been for a while and my legs feel like they have energy which is always good. I may decide to run a 10k at some point in the summer but ultimately I am aiming to enter the Lake Vyrnwy half marathon in September and get some consistant running in before then.
