Another 5 miles closer to Paris

Dec2720113:10 p.m.

Another 5 miles today.  Yesterday I was faffing about with my iPhone trying and failing to get GPS so not sure how long it took me but the same route today took me 49 minutes 55 seconds which is mighty speedy for me.  Beginning to think I might smash my marathon PB of 4:59.  Previously my training has fallen within the 10:30 to 11:30 minute mile zone but losing a stone and a half during 2011 (thank you slimming world) has put wings on my shoes (relatively speaking - I know I still end up in the bottom decile in nearly all the races I enter).

Work tomorrow but feeling good to know that my Paris training has got off to a good start.

This is a first for me because up till now I've made do with working out my routes on the gmaps-pedometer website. There is no reason why you shouldn't get a pb at Paris- well done for losing all that weight!' added 27th Dec 2011
