Brick session

Jan26201212:57 p.m.

  Same old, same old...

First of all, I forgot to mention that I managed to drop another pound this week.  It's getting to the point where each individual pound is having a noticeable effect on my waistline, so with more hard work this week I'm hoping to make a decent impact on it by the next weigh-in.

After work I did my regular brick session - 45mins steady on the turbo followed by a 4.35M run @ 7:40/mile pace.  The run felt surprisingly easy considering the hard club session the night before, although this morning the cumulative effect has left my hips a bit stiff.

This morning did not involve going to the pool but I still set me alarm so my body clock doesn't try and readjust itself - it was so nice hitting snooze and lazing around in bed for an extra couple of hours though!

After work I'm off for a good spinning class with a mate which should be a good one again.  I think the instructor's going to make it harder than last week (for progression) so I should sleep well tonight!
