Heading home for Christmas

Dec2220115:17 p.m.

Still a bit rubbish with the updates!

Not had much time to post a new blog recently.  Here's what I've been up to:

  • Tuesday AM: 2.5k steady swim before work in 47:30.
  • Tuesday PM: Running club Christmas 5k handicap & social.  Ran over there as a warm-up (1.8M) then went off hard in the race, faded a bit towards the end but still got 19:00 dead.  Pleased with that considering I'm in base training mode so had a few pints at the social afterwards!
  • Wednesday PM:  Bike/run brick session - 45mins steady turbo then 4.35M run @ 7:44/mile pace.
  • Thursday AM:  2.5k steady swim in 48:15 - tired and frankly couldn't really be arsed!
  • Thursday lunchtime:  Wrapped all my Christmas presents.
  • Thurs PM:  2hr steady turbo while watching a film.

So that's me all caught up - heading home or a week now so no cycling or swimming, just running.  Should be a good break though, and I don't miss any of the key workouts while I'm away so that'll be ok.

Hope you all enjoy your Christmas holidays!
